Laheriasarai station halt is assumed to be of 5 minutes, I first resisted, but disembarked the Gharib Rath. This train takes almost 16 hours to reach Darbhanga junction. Not familier so much about this station, I quikly figured the exit way. No security check, familier faces, my laptop bag causing itching pressure on shoulders. A bargain on 5 rupees and the deal was done for 25 rupees to Maharajganj. Slow movement, rhythmic cogwheel of old rickshaw reminded the Ramayana serial days.
Same ecology with an exception to road quality. Darbhanga seems to be as old as it was, getting a very slow makeover. No wonder if it is declared Archeological property someday. People decide the fate of a city, as people will think progressive so the place. However most of them do not understand.
Usually I choose to leave train at Darbhanga junction; however the choice of getting out was the anxiety inside. I was completely exhausted with the long travel. Felt like on paradise as soon I realized I was in Darbhanga.
This is always refreshing when I am with Ammi and Abbu. My eyes pains, intense fatigues evaporate with caring smiles of Abbujaan. They are the best I have and the best I will ever have. So what, if they are old now, they are as refreshing as newly born. I am scared of the thought of losing them. Let Allah bring peace to our family,
